We do try to listen, but that’s pretty easy to do for us (especially me) because of the passion we have for bicycles. It sounds like such marketing garbage to make such pronouncements, but it’s very real to me. Cycling has over run my life for the past 26 years. Even with my accident and all the injuries I now have, I can’t wait to get healthy enough to get back on my bikes and riding again. It’s a sickness.

As for the bikes- as I said, we spend lots of time working on the design and cosmetics of the bikes. We really bust a gut on the way they look. We don’t do a lot of surveys (though I do have a few now and again on the blog) or do other forms of “market research” per se- we pick the colors based off the visceral reaction of; wow, that looks good. It’s a passion thing for us (and certainly for me).
