Lachlan’s soccer team had their end of year BBQ today at the regatta centre. We took down the boys bikes, and i decided to complete a full lap on one of them with brent. it was ok riding around but by the end of the day the knee is stiff, sore and still not good.
there’s no doubt it is improving but after today’s short ride it confirms i still have some time before its going to be good to go. i guess also the fact i was on a 24″ bike wouldn’t have helped much.

i took down the 600D for its first full photo only run. the images turned out good but i still need to get my head around the camera properly.

after a fair bit more effort than normal here is the video from blue gum round i was talking about before. i am still not that happy with a few areas but i had to let it go at some point.

with the epic overtraining i decided it best to rest last weekend. of course there was a race on WSMTB Round 6 @ Blue Gum lodge. i did take the boys up and was really happy to see them race. aidan was on a bit of a mission and finished first with lachlan coming home a close second and travis third. pretty proud of the both of them. aidan had a sprint finish and won that even though the other boy was a lap behind. i’m going to have to do a separate edit of their race and it solidifies how much i need a fluid head tripod for the 600.

even though it was a last minute decision, i did take the goPRO and it turned out to be completely invaluable. i just chucked it on the ground using the stand clip but not clipped in as a base. it really work a treat and allowed me to place it very close to the action. i have an edit but for once i am going to spend more than the one day editing it.
