today jon at work sent me a link to the falcon motorcycle website and as stated before, if i had the cash i would love an old triumph bonneville or possibly the new 50th anniversary one. the layed back cruising long style is what i seem to be attracted to. i am really partial to the cafe racer style as well. most of these fetishes seem to stem back to old british bikes, triumphs, norton and the like. and then there is my mini love, again old british cars. i also really quiet partial to the austin healy sprite bug eye
deus have a bobber bike that is only a year older than me!.so… knowing i probably will never have the cash to get a bobber or cafe racer style moto … well probably not
i guess the closest i can go is a pushy very much the same as.i had recently been reading this when i came across this bike
one of the forum guys had brought it over from the states. it is really similar to the malvern star skidstar from the late 60’s.
the malvern isn’t quiet as “hard core” as the schwinn. the tubing doesn’t quiet look as agressive but none the less still a great cruising bike. then i found this as well. what is now a “new bike” but is really the biz. i love the masi logo. it has great typography and just reeks of style and grace. it is such a shame they don’t import them into aus. its the perfect kind of bike to take with you when you go for a ride with the kids. back pedal brakes with an 8 speed internal hub gearing, fenders/guards, this is cruising in style.
i’m not gready… i would just like one of everything here

i had sent an email to the second bidder on the white peugeot and he is keen to buy it at $195. happy days so a second chance has been sent to him and i am hoping it will move in the next couple of days.
then the money should be good to go to buy one of these three:
raleigh ~ little concerned the head tube does have nottingham england on it so the BB could be hardish to sort out
tarini ~ a travel for pick up, 700c’s are very very tempting as is the chrome forks… 2 tarini’s thats cool
centurion ~ its back, again a bit of a travel for pick up but they are a serious quality bike. i think if all else fails this will be the final option. i may be able to end the auction early at $75 - the first time it sold it went for $71.50.
sadly it is looking very much like i won’t be able to race now either. karen is probably stuck working on sunday.
i will take the boys down then and take some photos possibly… not happy.
