has now opened up a store in melbourne.
wonder if the tall poppy syndrome will hit them like deus.
i still love deus.
i don’t get why there is so much hate towards them.
it is just jealousy wrapped up in sexual frustration from people upset they aren’t good enough to be able to create such a store.
as for knog… i have to admit though, i really don’t like the swobo bikes.
the welding looks as cheap as shit, having said that some of their clothing looks reasonably good.
good luck to knog.
i am hoping one day to have enough disposable income to be able to afford a gator 105

we probably won’t ever see this kind of collection for auction like this ever again in ones life.
extremely rare, extremely sort after, and i would imagine will sell for in excess of $2,000k

a lazy week
Saturday, July 19, 2008
this week i have been quiet lazy. with the tour on i have been going to be really late and getting up late so riding to the station hasn’t really happened much this week. after lapstone hill last weekend i had been really quiet sore all week. my legs felt weathered and i think i may have really pushed a little to hard to climb the hill.
because of the main pain i had had all week and the fact every time i had been riding to the station it seemed to be hurting i was really questioning whether or not my fitness was really improving. it had actually put me searching on the web for betting training techniques. so today i went for a ride with jas, my first one for about 3 days.
from home to jas’s place is only 3 km but when i got off the bike their my legs were like stiff tree trunks. they were cactus, not hurting just extra stiff. i was quiet concerned, but pressed on for what was going to he a short ride.jas had a roadie mate who had never ridden a mtb before so the ride was going to be slowish. across shaws ridge, down to blue gum, up bee’s nest, to the lookout, then back down bee’s nest and around the swamp - then we planned on doing it again.
the pace was slow but fine, when we descended from the ridge down to the swamp i was now feeling much better, then we started the climb. this climb is the hardest climb i have ever attempted. it is on massive grade with a ridiculous river bed running through it which makes it ultra technical. i have alway said by the end of the year i want to be able to ride up it, and today i almost did. it felt fucken awesome. two little stops which were more technical issues rather than physical.
so i guess the thing is i am now absolutely over the moon, i am so much more fitter than i ever expected to be. i did make it up, all the way riding, with only two stops/technical issues, not strength, not stamina, just skill issue. i so want to do another race at yellowmundee.
jas is a machine and again we rode for 4 hours. not a long distance recordered nor was a high average. just a long solid ride with some gnarly hills. but i did get in trouble from management for being away for 4 hours on the bike.
